Team Leader
Camila Torres Rivera is a Lecturer of Mathematics at Guttman Community College, part of the City University of New York (CUNY). Camila holds a M.A. in Educational Psychology with an emphasis in quantitative methods from Hunter College. She is currently pursuing her M.Ed. in Cognitive Psychology at Teachers College, Columbia University. She is the recipient of the 2022 Paul Naish Award for Excellence in Teaching , a content composer, and a loving mother to a son (and also a crazy chihuahua).
American Studies
Jerald Isseks teaches at Guttman CC and Brooklyn College. Aside from teaching, he is a writer and an organizer who lives in Brooklyn. In his free time, Jerald likes to cook, read, play music, and ride his bike across the city (never all at once).
Composition
Tracy Daraviras is a Professor of English at Guttman Community College, CUNY. She holds a BA from Brooklyn College, CUNY, an MSEd from Fordham University, a Ph.D. from New York University, and is currently pursuing a Certificate in Disability Studies from CUNY SPS.

Emily Irwin has worked in the college access and persistence space for over a decade as a counselor, educator, and advocate. She holds a BS in Psychology and a BA in English Literature from the University of Pittsburgh as well as an MSW from Fordham University. In addition to her work in higher education, she is a practicing therapist.
